- What is your design process?
- What will I receive once my artwork is completed?
- My business is overseas can I still use your services?
- What about payments?
When inquiring about a graphic design service with Inkee Press, you will be provided with a written quotation outlining the timeframe, approximate cost and payment terms and conditions. Once you have accepted your quote and paid any required deposit, I will book your design job in and inform you of the start date.
If you have requested a logo design, you will be asked to complete the design brief found on our website. It is really important that as your graphic designer I get the right preliminary information from you at the start. This leads the way to successfully completing your project and bringing your vision into reality.
When your scheduled booking date arrives, the design of your artwork will start. You will be sent an initial proof and any changes you want made to it need to be sent to me via email. A revised proof will then be resent once those revisions have been made. This process will continue until both parties are satisfied with the end result. Designing is a two way process between a graphic designer and the client. Any delay in communication or changing of the brief might alter the time-line and/or cost of your design project.
In most cases, the types of files you will receive will be outlined in your quotation. For example, with a logo design you will be provided with high resolution copies in formats “eps, pdf, jpg and png.” If you need additional formats, please ask me. With other graphic design project such as for adverts and stationery, these will be provided to you in the appropriate format for their usage. Any artwork for online will only be provided as either a png or jpg format. All logo designs come complete with a logo guide, including information about the colours and fonts used and a table which explains which formats are best used for different purposes.
